Where we're going.
“To seed the minds of young Indians with the rare ability to control money instead of being controlled by it — building emotionally strong and financially wise future leaders.”
Paisa Universe was born from one simple observation: students learn calculus, but nobody teaches them why they feel anxious every time they open their wallet.
Financial literacy programs teach students what money is. We teach them how money makes them feel — and why that feeling drives every decision they make.
We combine behavioral economics, cognitive psychology, and real-world money scenarios to create a program that actually sticks. No textbooks. No lectures. Just honest conversations about money and the emotions behind it.
Our goal is simple: by the time a Paisa Universe student earns their first salary, they already know themselves well enough to make smart choices with it.
Most financial education teaches rules. We teach self-awareness. Because you can know every rule in the book and still spend your entire salary on Day 1 if your emotions are running the show.
“To seed the minds of young Indians with the rare ability to control money instead of being controlled by it — building emotionally strong and financially wise future leaders.”
“To raise a generation of young Indians who feel money, understand money, and master money — through stories, emotional intelligence, and behavioral wisdom that turns impulsive kids into thoughtful, future-ready decision-makers.”
Money is personal. We create a safe space for students to explore their real feelings without judgment or shame.
Everything we teach is grounded in behavioral economics and cognitive psychology research.
Designed specifically for 12–15 year olds. Real examples. Real language. Real relevance to their lives.
Every session ends with tools students can actually use — not just concepts they'll forget by Monday.
Two MMS graduates who looked at the financial world and asked one question nobody else was asking — why doesn't anyone teach this earlier?

“Three years of teaching underprivileged children through Rotaract's Project Daptar showed me what a difference one good lesson can make. I didn't want to stop. So I didn't.”
Prachi Patil is the dreamer behind Paisa Universe — and everything she has built herself into proves she was always meant to be. With a B.Sc in Statistics and an MMS in Global Financial Markets, she carries both the precision of numbers and the fluency of real-world markets wherever she goes. But her truest education happened beyond lecture halls. She spent four years with an NGO and three years volunteering with Rotaract under Project Daptar — teaching underprivileged children, and in doing so, discovering a purpose she could no longer set aside. Two deep research projects in behavioral finance round out a profile that is as intellectually grounded as it is deeply human. Prachi isn't a co-founder who simply believes in this mission — she has lived it, researched it, and quietly built her entire life around it.

“I've worked at the highest levels of strategy and research — and the one thing that struck me every time was how early it all begins. Financial confidence isn't built in boardrooms. It's built in classrooms.”
Utkarsha Ingale is not just a co-founder — she is the strategic force behind Paisa Universe. A BBA graduate and holder of an MMS in Global Financial Markets from the Bombay Stock Exchange Institute, she has sharpened her expertise at one of India's most respected professional platforms — Grant Thornton — where she built a strong foundation in research and strategic management at a national level. With a mind that dissects systems and a heart that believes in people, Utkarsha brings rare clarity to everything Paisa Universe does — from curriculum design to school partnerships. As Co-Founder, she is on a mission to ensure that the financial intelligence she spent years building in the corporate world becomes accessible to every student who walks into a classroom.
